<div itemprop="description"> <p> <strong> Cluett, Alfreda &ndash; 95, Halifax, passed away April 2, 2012 in Maplestone Enhanced Care. Born at Frenchman&rsquo;s Cove, Newfoundland, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Sylvia (Bond) Hobin. She was a lifetime member of the Salvation Army and was very passionate about her volunteer work, manning the kettle, teaching Sunday school as well as fundraising. Surviving are her sons, Benjamin (Donna), Lester (Bette), Gordon (Barbara), Calvin (Diane), James &ldquo;Jim&rdquo; (Ruth); daughter Louise Barron; 16 grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Esau; sister, Louise Moulton; brothers, frank and Lionel Hobin, daughter, Judy Archibald; son, Arthur; grandchildren, Wendy, Kevin, Debbie and Andy. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 pm Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax from where funeral services will take plate 1 pm Thursday, April 5, 2012. A reception will follow in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gideon Bible Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society.
