<div itemprop="description">Eisnor, Carol Madelyn of Halifax, passed away June 13, 2016 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late, Edith Muriel “Molly” (Purcell) Jones. She enjoyed being a stay at home mum and raising her family. Later she worked at Wamboldt Waterfield Photography, Perry’s Pharmacy as well as Zellers up until her retirement. Over the years, she was an avid bowler, dart player as well as loved a good game of Crib and Rummoli. There were a lot of skaters and curlers who were kept warm with the beautiful sweaters she knitted. Carol is survived by her children, Gary (Nancy), Dale (Kathy), Nancy (Shawn); grandchildren, Julie (Joseph), Gabe (Mariko), Justine and Tyler; great granddaughter, Akira. She will be sadly missed by her “fur baby”, Precious. Carol was predeceased by her husband, John L. Eisnor “Jackie”; step father, William Phillip Jones as well as several aunts and uncles. Cremation has taken place under the care of Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road., Halifax. At Carol’s request a private family burial will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to Palliative Care, Heart and Stroke or a charity of choice.
