David Raymond E. Denomey
April 4, 1940 - March 18, 2017
David Raymond E. Denomey passed away at the Halifax Infirmary on March 18 2017.
Born in Windsor, ON, April 4th, 1940, he was the son of the late Eugene and Florence Denomey.
David joined the Royal Canadian Navy at the age of 17 and was proud to have served on many ships including The Cape Scott, Outremont, Port St. Jean, St. Croix and The Bonaventure, David was navy diver and achieved the rank of Leading Seaman.
Following retirement from the Navy, David worked for many years as a driver for SYSCO.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Francis Denomey, son Christopher David Denomey, daughter Suzanne Marie Denomey, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by a daughter Deborah Annette, bothers Ronald and Michael, a sister Judith.
In keeping with David wishes, there will be no visitation or service. He was loved very much and will be missed by his many friends, relatives and acquaintances.
