<div itemprop="description">Jackson, (Sparks),Elizabeth Ann, Deacon, 62 of Halifax passed away peacefully on May 2, 2014 in the QE2 Hospital with friends and family by her side. Born in Lake Loon she was the daughter of the late Sarah Jane Sparks. She was a faithful member of the Mulgrave Park Baptist Church. Elizabeth was a liaison between the church and the community of Mulgrave Park. She was a prayer warrior and attended bible study regularly. <br /> <br />She worked at Victoria Hall for over 30 years as dietary aid. She was also trained as a Restorative Justice Facilitator. Elizabeth was one of the founding members of Mulgrave Park Food Bank and Healthy Kids Program. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Shawna Cage, son in-law Ernest Cage Virginia Beach, Virginia, Olympia Sparks, grandchildren, Osiris and August Cage. Aunts, Beatrice Cooke and Barbara Sparks and cousins that were like sisters and brothers, Donna Morton, Bonita Fraser, Harold, Stacey Cooke, and Graham (deceased), several first cousins. She was predeceased by grandparents, William Harry and Sarah Jane Sparks and godparents, Alexander and Louise Sparks. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 8th from 7P.M.-9P.M. at Mulgrave Park Baptist Church, 5656 Sebastian Street, Halifax. The home coming memorial service will take place on Friday May 9th at 11:00 A.M. in Mulgrave Park Baptist Church, Reverend Leo Fletcher officiating. Private family interment in Cherry United Baptist Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mulgrave Park Baptist Church.
