<div itemprop="description"> <b> &nbsp;Erskine Leonard Mattatall <br /> <br /> </b> <p> 66 of Musquodoboit Harbour, passed away August 20, 2011 in the Dartmouth General Hospital.&nbsp; Born in Halifax he was a son of Reby (Lewis) and the late Leonard Mattatall.&nbsp; Erskine was retired from Capital Health as Maintenance Supervisor of The Birches.&nbsp; He was a proud member of the Eastern Shore Bluegrass Club and spent many years playing and supporting bluegrass music.&nbsp; He was always willing to Jam with anybody and never went without his dobra.&nbsp; Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sylvia (MacCallum).&nbsp; A loving father to his chosen daughter Darlene (John) Bennett, Cambridge; chosen son Christopher (Robin) Gillis, Musquodoboit Harbour.&nbsp; Brother Elroy (Valerie), Sister Thelma (David) Williams, both of Musquodoboit Harbour.&nbsp; Stepchildren Ronald, Thomas, Douglas and Donna.&nbsp; Several grandchildren;&nbsp; a niece and several nephews.&nbsp; Cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.&nbsp; No Flowers by request, donations in Erskine&rsquo;s memory may be made to the Canadian Celiac Association, 5025 Orbiter Drive, Building 1, Suite 400 Mississauga Ontario, L4W 4Y5.&nbsp; Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com. &nbsp;A special thanks to all the bluegrassers for all the good times and support over the years. </p> </div>
