<div itemprop="description"> <p> Joudrey, Garry Charles - 62, of Halifax, passed away surrounded by family Wednesday January 30, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in Halifax, he was a son of late Charles and Stena (Lively) Joudrey. He worked for the Halifax Shipyards for 38 yrs as an enginefitter. Garry's passion was the &quot;Emily Sea&quot;, his cabin cruiser, in Purcell's Cove. Garry especially loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 yrs, Norann Schultz-Joudrey, Halifax; son, Tony Schultz (Shelley) and their girls, Emily &amp; Erin; step son, Tony Henderson and his son, Luke; brother, Jim Joudrey, Sackville; sisters, Jeanette (Harold) Shirley, Beaver Bank, Jacqueline (Jerry) Boutilier, Fox River; brothers-in-law, Jim (Muriel) Henderson, Dartmouth, Reggie, Dartmouth; several neices and nephews; great neices and nephews. A very special mention of friends, Paul Eisan, Roy and Wendy Manning, Kevin MacIsaac, his work buddies, Dennis Jenkins, Ralph Behan, Steve Conrad; his marina friends, Paul and Kim Hadley, Gus and Andrea Cameron, Dave and Colleen Sampson, Steve and Tom Kiley, Grant Stocker, Glen and Sandy Hollett, Saleem Toulany. Besides his parents, Garry was predeceased by sister-in-law, Carol Joudrey. Garry went to be with his &quot;furry grandbabies&quot;, Charlie and Tellie. Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Saturday February 2nd at Atlantic Funeral Home 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax where a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday February 3rd. Interment will be held at a later date in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank everyone who came to visit him during his illness as well as his roommates, Wayne Rushton and Billy Gillis. Many thanks to the Hospital staff of 8.1., Care workers, especially Zibby, VON workers, Vicky and Dave , Palliative Care nurse, Devon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Canadian Cancer Society. </p> </div>
