<div itemprop="description">O&rsquo;NEILL, Gerald &ldquo;Brian&rdquo; &ndash; Age 73 years of Timberlea, passed away July 8th, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Gerald and Margaret (Reyno) O&rsquo;Neill. Brian was a machinist for 28 years at the dockyard retiring in 1998. He loved woodworking and during retirement his many friends, family and the church, benefited from his talent. Brian was a parishioner of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Parish where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Being a &ldquo;jack of all trades&rdquo;, he built, fixed, or painted something for just about everyone he knew. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diane (O&rsquo;Leary); sons, Brian &ldquo;Patrick&rdquo; (Lorraine), Stephen Gregory (Kathy); grandchildren, Sarah O&rsquo;Neill, Ryan O&rsquo;Neill, Erin O&rsquo;Neill, Amanda Gore, James Gore; sister, Janet Gough, Halifax; brother, Robert O&rsquo;Neill, Lower Sackville, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Gregory O&rsquo;Neill. Cremation has taken place. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday July 11, in St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Roman Catholic Church, Timberlea, Father Joe MacKinnon officiating, where a reception will follow in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. <br />&ldquo;Puppy&rsquo;&rsquo; was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all. <br /></div>
