<div itemprop="description">Inkpen, Hazel &ldquo;Kaye&rdquo; &ndash; of Halifax, passed away at home on September 7, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Burin, NL, she was a daughter of the late George and Emily (Hobin) Moulton. Kaye was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and a lifelong Salvationist of the Salvation Army Fairview Citadel Corps. She contributed to various ministries of the corps throughout her life including Corps Cadet Councillor. She was also a tremendous baker, well known for her bread, rolls and her Partridge Berry Pie which she would sometimes bake for church fundraisers. Survived by her son, Barry (Cathy O&rsquo;Neill), Halifax; daughter, Wendy (Robert) Clark, Lower Sackville; Brothers, Joshua Moulton, Ontario, Scott Moulton, Halifax; sister, Jessie Mitchell, Fall River; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews and in particular, George Beazley, who regarded her as a second mom. Kaye was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Richard Inkpen; son, Richard in infancy; brother, Clyde; twin sister, Myra; sisters, Grace and Dona. Special thanks to Bay Shore Health, in particular, Krysta Hebb, Capital Health, Joan Watts and Joan Osborne, two angels from heaven. Visitation will take place 2-4, 7-9 pm Tuesday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax. Funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday at The Salvation Army Fairview Citadel, 50 Gesner Street, Halifax, where a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army Fairview Citadel Corps Building Fund or a charity of choice.
