
Ferguson, James Clement – 82, Hammonds Plains, passed away on January 2, 1012 in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Lorneville, New Brunswick, he was a son of the late James Leslie and Rachel Vera (McCavour) Ferguson. At an early age, he started his career in the insurance industry which brought him from Saint John to Halifax. In addition, he also worked for ISECO and Nestle for many years. James had a strong faith in his Lord and is now at peace in his presence. Surviving are his wife, Beatrice “Bea”; son, Allan (Nancy), Ottawa; daughter, Leslie Ann, Ottawa; stepchildren, Judy, Truro; Rick (Wendy), Lower Sackville; Carmen (Pam), Timberlea; Many grandchildren and one great grandson as well as his sisters, Grace and Alberta. He was predeceased by his son, Andrew; brothers, Arthur, Glendon and Charles as well as sisters, Middie and Marion. Visitation will take place 2-4 pm Wednesday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax, from where funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday. Burial will be in Sunny Side Cemetery, Whynotts Settlement. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
