<div itemprop="description">Wright, Janaveau Marie “Jan” – 59 of Halifax, passed away peacefully February 14, 2017 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Lloyd Roberts and Ella Jane Whynott. Jan worked at the IWK for 12 years from where she retired. She loved walking, solving a variety of puzzles as well as watching a good movie. She also enjoyed cross-stitching and adult coloring books. Jan is survived by her son, Jason; brother, Michael (Louise) MacDonald; sisters, Cynthia (Randy) Francis, Mylinda (Rod) Corkum, Genevieve Bishop, Ruth Dauphinee, Catherine; sister-in-law, Helen MacDonald; brother-in-law, Ron Flemming as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Daniel MacDonald, Arthur MacDonald; sisters, Shirley (Grant) Harding, Laura Flemming as well as her brother-in-law Raymond Bishop. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 pm Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd, Halifax from where a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to Mental Health Nova Scotia Special thanks to the staff at Northwood for the wonder care given to Jan as well as Pastor Ian MacFarlane at Living Hope Community Church for his spiritual guidance and friendship.
