<div itemprop="description">Harrie, Jason Stewart &ndash; 38, of Terence Bay, passed away August 30, 2014 at home. Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Stewart and Una (Slaunwhite) Harrie. Jason was passionate about hunting, fishing, biking on the trails in Stewiacke as well as being on the ocean aboard his boat. However, the biggest love of his life was his cherished daughter Jaylyn who also shared in the passion of boating with her dad. People were drawn to his smile, his infectious laughter as well as his unique dance moves. He is survived by his daughter, (daddy&rsquo;s little muffin puffin), Jaylyn; sister, Tammy (Joey Jones); nephew, Brody; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Slaunwhite; uncles, Larry, Barry, John, Darren, Jason; adoptive parents and family, Francis (Diane) Brophy; sister, Tracy Brophy (Kevin Wagner); nieces, Brooke and Robyn; maternal grandmother, Rita Richards, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his, Paternal grandfathers, Vern Slaunwhite, David Harrie, Joseph Richards and Freeman Brophy; paternal grandmother, Nora Harrie, Ella Mae Brophy. Friends are welcome to share stories about Jason and celebrate his life from 6-8 pm Friday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Saturday in Our Lady of Mt Carmel, Shad Bay. A reception and celebration of his life will follow in the parish hall.
