Jonathan R. M. Bugbee
February 16, 1989 - February 19, 2017
Jonathan R. M. Bugbee - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Jonathan on Sunday, February 19th, 2017, in Edmonton. He was born on February 16th, 1989 in Halifax, the son of Leonard and Kathleen of Glen Haven.
Jonathan was a caring, thoughtful and generous man that was beloved by many. He was involved in many activities growing up, and was especially fond of baseball and hockey. Jonathan was passionate about music from a young age, proficient in the use of many instruments. He wrote his own music that he loved to share with his family and friends.
Jonathan was taken from us far too soon. He was kind to a fault and always willing to offer a helping hand whenever it was needed. He was so much more than the demons he faced, and should be remembered for his amazing qualities that made him an endless source of laughter to those fortunate enough to have known him.
Jonathan will be missed by his parents Leonard and Kathleen, his sister Elizabeth (Karen), Grandmothers Barbara LeRue (Stan) and Laura Bugbee, many loving family members and countless wonderful friends. He was predeceased by Uncle Gary Dewling, Grandfathers Lloyd Dewling and Leonard Bugbee Sr, and Aunt Laurie Forest.
Visitation will be held from 7-9 pm on Friday, March 3rd at Atlantic Funeral Home (6552 Bayers Road, Halifax). The funeral will be held at 2pm on Saturday, March 4th at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (10030 Peggy’s Cove Road, Hackett’s Cove).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Margaret’s Bay Lions Club (89 Wendybrook Dr Tantallon B3Z 2K1); St. Peter’s Anglican Church; or the NS Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association ((300 Pleasant Street, PO Box 1004, Dartmouth B2Y 3Z9)
