<div itemprop="description">Lori Lynne Harris-38, of Halifax, passed away suddenly on November 23rd, 2013 in Halifax. Lori was a guidance counsellor and teacher with the Halifax Regional School Board for the past 16 years, having touched the lives of many students. Her passions included music, reading, and spending time with her niece and nephew. She had an infectious sense of humour and loved to make people laugh. Lori was blessed with a loving family and amazing friends who loved her like a sister. She is survived by her grandfather Charles Gilbert, parents Stan and June Harris; sister Kelly Harris, brother in law Michael Roberts, nephew Ryan, niece Kara, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lori will be greatly missed by all and who knew her, and by her beloved canine companion Lucy. She will forever live in our hearts. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 29th at 11:00am in the Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayer's Road, Halifax, Rev. James Haughn officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mary Hill Trust Fund for Cancer Treatment at the Scotiabank 936 Bedford Highway, Bedford or 518 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville.
