<div itemprop="description"> <p> <b> Upshall, Marjorie Lynn &ndash; 49, it is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Lynn on December 25, 2011 with her beloved partner of 23 yrs, Doug Spence by her side.&nbsp; Lynn leaves behind her siblings, Jean, Grace (Gary), Dan, Dave, Bob, Becky (Doug), Mabel (Rob), Gerri (Steve); her nieces and nephews;&nbsp; her aunt Mabel and Uncle Gerald Upshall; many cousins; her long time friends, Roger and John. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Marjorie (Simmons) Upshall.&nbsp; Lynn worked at Canada Life/Great West Life for 25 yrs., first in Toronto then in Halifax as well as her hometown of St. John&rsquo;s NL. She was an expert knitter and made beautiful sweaters and hats for her family.&nbsp; Visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday December 28 in Atlantic Funeral Home,&nbsp; 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, where a memorial service followed by a reception will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday December 29.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
