<div itemprop="description"><br /> Maurice Michael (Moe) Perry, 64, of Halifax passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 9th, 2016. Maurice was the eldest son of the Felix and the Edna (Dobbin) Perry. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon (nee Barrett), his son Peter and grandson Kieran, who was the apple of Pop&rsquo;s eye. Maurice is also survived by his brother Glen (Kim) Pyke, Ontario; Sisters; Mabel (Ray) Williams, Penticton, British Columbia; Patricia (Henry) Smith, Sutherlands Lake; Frances (Arthur) Purdon, Chilliwack, British Columbia; Louise (Leonard) Roach, Fort Ellis; and brothers Felix (Debi) and John, Dartmouth. Maurice was predeceased by two younger brothers, William and James. Maurice will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Moe was well liked and well known as a machinist and calibration specialist employed with DND at CFB Halifax Dockyard in a career that spanned 30 years. His interests included camping, canoeing, family events and card games with his son, brothers and his Aunt Annie. To know Moe was to love him, and although we will cherish the memories he gave us, his passing will truly leave a hole in our hearts impossible to fill. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 14th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road Halifax. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 15th, 2016 at Saint Catherine of Siena Church, 6476 Bayers Road, Halifax.<br />Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the QEII hospital for their kindness, as well as Reverend Alfred Eshun and his assistant Keith Hollett.<br />In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any charity of choice. <br />Special thanks to all my brothers and sisters in law for all their help and support at this sad time.</div>
