<div itemprop="description"><br> <br> Patricia Elizabeth Britten <br>After a long wait Patricia has gone home to be with the Lord on Friday, Sept 16, 2016 at the age of 94. <br>She was predeceased in May, by her husband of 70 years, Daniel J. Britten. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Leo Leblanc of Cheticamp, and Mary Louise (Terrio) (Leblanc) Boudreau of Arichat; also predeceased by sisters Clara May Samson (George), Edith Boudreau (Alfred), and brothers Leo Patrick, Gerald, and Edgar Leblanc. <br>She was the loving mother of, and survived by daughters, Barbara McDonald (Dave), Milton, Ont; Linda McDonald (Jim Dowling), Halifax; Cynthia Mellis (Andy), Calgary AB; Angela Britten (Michel Belanger), Gatineau, QC; sons, Ronald (Aimee), Ottawa; Daniel Jr. and David, both of Dartmouth; several grand and great-grandchildren. <br>Special thanks to her “gentle” son David, who came home to help her while she was lost. <br>Visitation will be held in Atlantic Funeral Home, Thursday evening September 22, from 6:30–8:30 pm and on Friday afternoon from 12:00–1:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm in St. Teresa Church, 6351 North St. Halifax, a reception will follow.
