MOULTON, Paul Robert – 53 of Halifax. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Moulton on April 12, 2014 at the QEII, VG Site, after battling esophageal cancer for just over one year. Paul was born in Halifax on July 31, 1960. He was the son of Carol Moulton and the late Douglas Moulton. Paul was employed with Maritime Paper Products for over 34 years and made many close friends at the plant over that time.

Paul LOVED sports and could tell you any statistic, about any sport anytime. He loved hockey and football and was a proud Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Steelers fan all his life. Paul especially loved golf and for the past few summers had been a member at Paragon Golf Course. Paul thoroughly loved our past 5 summers at the trailer in Sherwood Forest Campground, playing horseshoes and crib with the guys, dances on Saturday nights, (all with a cold Keith's in hand), and he was so thankful for all the great new and old friends he had in the park. He lived life to the fullest. The loves of his life were Erin and Beth, spending time with them, and always bending over backwards to make them happy.

Paul is survived by his loving wife and best friend of almost 22 years, Beth (O'Hearn), and daughter Erin (11), mother Carol (John Morgan) Moulton, mother-in-law Cecilia O'Hearn and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and wonderful friends. Paul was predeceased by his father Douglas Moulton, brother Cyril Moulton, and father-in-law Gabby O'Hearn.

Visitation will be held from 2-4, 7-9 Monday, April 21 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax, A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 22 at St. Michaels Church at 10:00 a.m, Father Sam Batsa officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall.

A special thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at the VG who treated and took care of Paul during his illness. Donations in his memory may be made to the IWK or Canadian Cancer Society.
