Age 61. A great lady passed away on July 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Halifax on November 18, 1953, she was the daughter of the late John Donald and Mary Elizabeth (MacInnis) MacIsaac. Sally will be missed by her family and friends as she made each and every one of them feel special. Sally spent 42 years walking the halls of the VG Site, QEII as a Porter, a job she loved. She will always be remembered by her devoted husband of 16 years Paul; her pride and joy and loving son Jason MacIsaac; brothers Donnie, Kenny (Jerry) and Bernie (Donna); sisters Ann Caldwell (Bruce), Helen Huestis (Terry) and Diane Gilligan (Jimmy). Sally was an amazing aunt to Scott, Ryan (Lynzie) MacIsaac; Brad (Tracy), Jeff (Eric) MacCharles; Craig (Derrica), Chris (Eryn) MacIsaac; Justin, Chad Caldwell; Emily, Peter MacIsaac; Courtney Huestis; Andrew Gilligan. Her face would light up in their presence. She was very proud of her great nieces and nephews Drew, Brady, Rylyn, Jacob, Logan, Tanner, Rion, Brett. Sally was predeceased by her sister Nancy; brother, Paul and great niece Jonah Wynn MacCharles. Visitation will be, Friday August 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Funeral Mass will be 1p.m. Saturday August 8 in St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 1288 Bedford Hwy., Bedford, Father Patrick Cosgrove presiding. Reception to follow in the church hall. Interment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
