August 9, 1933 - March 1, 2016
Hoadley, Stella Mae Jacqueline (Lesbriel-Shea) 82 of Timberlea, passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2016 surrounded by her family. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late John Lesbriel and Mary Elizabeth (Bottomley) Shea. She also worked at Sears Retail where she was well loved by her coworkers and by everyone that had the fortune to meet her. Her favorite subject in school was spelling and she prided herself in knowing how to spell big words. Stella adored her children and grandchildren and loved taking part in their activities such as camping, hockey games, swimming, card games, parties and concerts. She always tried to be there to encourage them whenever she could. Stella loved her friends and always wondered what she did to deserve such loyal friendships throughout the years. She especially enjoyed her regular outings with the “T-Bag Girls”, a wonderful group of ladies that she loved with all her heart. She had a unique way of making everyone around her laugh and touched so many lives with happiness. We were so very fortunate to have this awesome, little lady in our lives. She will never know how much she meant to all of us and she will live forever in our hearts. Besides her husband, she survived by her children, Richard (Kim), James (Susan), Mark (Christina), Heidi (David) Shanks, Daughter at heart, Ella (Frank) White; grandchildren, Hollie, Trina (Greg), Jennifer, Caleb, Chimera, Charita, Naomi, Ryan, Jordan (Michael), Austin, Tracy, Nicolas, Amy, Laura, Joshua, Rylyn; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Grace, Jackson, Stella, Miller, Flora; great great grandson, Weston; brothers, Michael (Diane) Shea; sisters, Joan Martin, Teresa Bowden; sister-in-law, Bayna Shea.
