<div itemprop="description">McDonald, Therese Marie – 71 of Halifax passed away October 15, 2016 at the QEII – Infirmary Site. Born in Cape Breton she was a daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Burke) Spencer. Therese was a very caring and giving person who had a heart of gold. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Raymond; children, Roger (Gail), Cheryl (Rod) Mann, Shauna (Randy Lam) Chiem, Greg (Marlene); grandchildren, Shane, Sean, Ryan, James, Nicholas, Matthew, Courtney, Damien, Chase; great granddaughter, Abigail; brothers, Charles, Art, Everett, David; sisters, Glenda, Madonna, Valda as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 pm Tuesday, October 18 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax from where a memorial service will be held 12 pm Wednesday, October 19, 2016. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.</div>
