<div itemprop="description">Foren, Daniel Robert &ldquo;Danny&rdquo; 55 of Halifax passed away November 1, 2015 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary Hospital surrounded by family and friends. Born in Halifax, he was the son of Mary Kathleen (Potter) Foren and the late Fredrick William Foren. Danny worked for Prescott Group for 34 years until his recent retirement. This group provided Danny with the opportunity to have a job, learn new skills and to contribute to their community. Danny lived with his mother, Mary in Halifax until 2010. Since then the family was blessed to have Danny join the L&rsquo;Arche Halifax community. L&rsquo;Arche is a faith based community with creates homes for people with disabilities. Danny was well known for shaking people&rsquo;s hands and letting them know his name was Danny Foren. If you held on to long you would be pulled in for a huge hug. He often would tell people that he had &ldquo;a dream last night&rdquo; and how he &ldquo;broke the wall&rdquo;. Danny loved music and loved to clap along. His favorite song recently was Country Roads. he lives that Danny touched were many. His infectious smile, laugh and personality will live in our hearts forever. Besides his mother, Danny survived by his brother, David (Joan), Timberlea; nephew, Mitchell and niece Jenna. The family would sincerely like to thank the L&rsquo;Arche staff and community, Prescott staff and Dr. Spicer. Visitation will be held 7-9pm Wednesday, November 4 in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax. Funeral service will take place 1pm Thursday, November 5 at Trinity Anglican Church, 321 Main Avenue, Fairview. Celebrant: Rev. Dianne Parker. A reception will follow in the parish hall with burial to take place in Fairview Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to L&rsquo;Arche Halifax, 5512 Sullivan St, Halifax, NS, B3K or Prescott Group, 3430 Prescott Street, Halifax, NS, B3K 4Y4. <br /></div>
