<div itemprop="description">Mrs. Marsha Toulany February 27, 1926 - April 30, 2014 <br /> <br />TOULANY, Marsha 88, Halifax, passed away on Wednesday April 30, 2014 in hospital surrounded by all her loving family. Marsha, the wife of the late Abboud Toulany is survived by her children and their spouses: Hanna &amp;(Ahlem) Toulany , Kamlie &amp;( Youssef) Thomeh , Bechora &amp;( Najat) Toulany, Nabil Toulany, Samira &amp; (Emile) Thomeh, Samir &amp;( Wafaa )Toulany, along with her 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Marsha was born in Minyara, Akkar, Lebanon in 1926 to the late Salim and Melanie Toulany and was one of seven siblings; Bachir Toulany, Ivette Bourdakan, Hind Haider, Samir Toulany, Samira Elias, Hana Toulany and Halim Toulany. Marsha will be remembered for her maternal-loving spirit, her huge heart and strong will. She left a lasting impression on all who knew her and will be missed dearly. Marsha worked very hard caring for her family and raised many grand childrens, later she immigrated to Canada in 1975, where she became well-known as &ldquo;mom&rdquo; in the North End of Halifax community. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax, where visitation will be held Thursday 7-9pm and Friday 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am, in Our Lady of Lebanon Church. The interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville.
