<div itemprop="description">KING, Patricia May (Jackson) &ldquo;Pat&rdquo;-81 of Halifax, passed away on March 10, 2015 in Parkstone Enhanced Care.<br /><br />Born in Somerville Massachusetts, she was a daughter of the late George and Theressa Jackson.<br /><br />Pat was a devoted wife and a wonderful homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to garden and enjoyed baking and a good BBQ dinner. She loved spending time with family and friends.<br /><br />Pat is survived by daughter Kathryn (Glenn) Richards; sons, Barry and Brad (Tracey); grandchildren, Shelley (Bill) McQuillan, Nicole, Reilly, and Max; great granddaughter, Kaitlyn. She is also survived by her siblings, Margaret Ford, Nancy (Tom) Jones, Joyce Ann (James) Huyck, Lori (Vernon) Schmidt, Jim (Janet) Jackson; sister-in-law Noreen Jackson, and many nieces and nephews.<br /><br />She was predeceased by her husband Harry, daughter Lisa; and daughter-in-law Sandi. She was also predeceased by her brothers Richard and Charles; and sister Mabel Oliver.<br /><br />The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Saturday March 14, in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax, Rev. Barry King officiating with a reception to follow. Cremation and interment in Oakridge Memory Gardens to take place at a later date.<br /><br />In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.<br /> <br /><br />Online condolences may be made by visiting the Halifax Chapel at www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com<br /><br /></div>
