<div itemprop="description">LeBlanc (Petitpas), Renee Marguerite-78 of Halifax, passed away on August 1, 2016 in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, with her husband by her side.<br>Born in St. Pierre Miquelon, she was the daughter of the late Therese (Hacala) and Lucien Petitpas. <br>Renee loved dancing, playing bingo and cards, and cooking dinner for her family and friends. Most of all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.<br>Survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold Leblanc; daughters, Kathy (Greg) Brown, Debbie (Curtis) Northrup, Christine Shupe; son, Jack Leblanc; grandchildren, Jessica (Regan), Jillian (Matt), Ashley, Zack, Gregory, Alex, McKayla, Michael; great grandchildren, Chloe, Mila, Priyah. She is also survived by her sisters, Jocelyne (Guy) Paturel, Juliette (Guy) Fouchard, Louise Bouget, Lucienne Garcia, and many nieces and nephews. <br>Renee was predeceased by her brother Joseph Petitpas.<br>Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Wednesday, August 3rd in Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Road, Halifax. <br>Funeral Mass will take place at 11 am on Thursday August 4th in Saint Catherine of Siena Parish, 6576 Bayers Rd, Fr. James Wegner officiating. Reception to follow at the Atlantic Funeral Home. Interment to take place at a later date.<br>Flowers are welcome.
