<div itemprop="description">Jack Saade – 80 years, Halifax, husband of Olga, father of Robert (Jennifer Lee and children Mila and Jack) Saade (of Toronto) and Sam (Jennifer Lynn and baby boy on the way) Saade (of Halifax), passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and loved ones, on March 23, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. He was predeceased by his parents, Chaoul and Cecilia Saade and all his siblings Basma Saade, Therese (Emile) Karam, Renee Saade, Sayed (Ann) Saade, Robert (Lamia) Saade; and his niece Aida Karam. Born in Zgharta, North Lebanon, he immigrated to Halifax in 1956, via Pier 21. He met and married the love of his life, Olga Frangieh in August 1974 in the historic mountain town of Ehden. Jack’s passion for being on the road started at a young age. He worked for Nova Charters for over 17 years as a bus tour driver. He will always be known as a father figure to everyone he met. His home was always full, and was often referred to as a drop in centre, by his niece Cecilia. Visitation will be held Sunday March 26th 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church, 3844 Joseph Howe Drive, Halifax. Funeral service will also be held at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church, Monday March 27th at 11am. Interment will take place at St John Cemetery,Halifax. We would like to thank family and friends who held vigil for several days, as well as the staff in the ICU at QEII Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Church.</div>
