LEVERMAN, Louise Elizabeth age 90 of Halifax passed away April 4, 2017 at Arbourstone Enhanced Care. Born in Wedgeport she was a daughter of the late Roger Elizer and Annie Rose (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. She had a keen interest in her Acadian heritage and spent countless hours researching Wedgeport and surrounding areas. Louise loved the game of bridge and played it whenever she could. Her favourite hobby was shopping and could be found most Wednesday’s at Halifax Shopping Centre or in the shops of Spring Garden Road. Louise is survived by daughter Lise (Kevin) Alexander, Timberlea; son Michael (Manon de Jong) Leverman, Toronto; grandchildren Chris Alexander, Halifax; Sean Alexander, Ottawa; William and Noah Leverman, Porter’s Lake and great grandson Reid Alexander, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband Harold J. Leverman, sisters Jeanne (LeBlanc) Pothier, Kathleen (LeBlanc) Meyer, brothers Louis Leblanc (twin brother) and Ronald LeBlanc. Cremation has taken place. No visitation or service by family request. The family wishes you join them on Sunday April 9, 2017 from 2-4 pm at 15 Tiger Maple Drive, Timberlea for a celebration of Louise’s life.
