<div itemprop="description">Wamboldt, Louise Dorothy – 75 of Halifax. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Louise passed away September 9, 2016 at the VG site of the QEII surrounded by her family. Born in Blue Rocks on January 24, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Nellie (Hynick) Tanner. Louise was very devoted to her family. She loved her boys, never missing one of their hockey games or practices. Although she was proud to be an at home mom, she also helped her husband Lee manage his businesses at Wamboldt-Waterfield Photography and Cameraland. She was a lover of flea markets and yards sales having a keen eye to always find a great deal. She had a wide circle of friends including Donna, “her walking buddy” along with “The Breakfast Club” who she and Lee would meet up with every morning for breakfast. Louise is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Leland “Lee”; sons, Troy (Shelly Smith), Trevor; her three precious grandchildren, Ryan, Colin and Hailey; brother, Gilbert Jr. “Junie” (Patsy) as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Sherman, Leonard, Bernie and Louis. Cremation has taken place under the care of her son Trevor of Atlantic Funeral Home, 6552 Bayers Rd., Halifax. Louise was a very private person so in keeping with and honoring her wishes a private memorial service will be held in Lunenburg. Donations in memory would be gratefully appreciated if made to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 2096 Windsor Street, Halifax, NS, B3K 5B1.
